About me
Eric Franchi is a General Partner at Aperiam, where he invests in marketing and ad tech companies. A proud Penn State alumnus, Eric is a serial entrepreneur and investor who has been on both sides of the table - building, scaling, and exiting companies, and now backing the next generation of founders.
Eric co-founded Undertone, a digital advertising platform that he grew and successfully sold for $180 million. Since transitioning to venture capital, he has invested in over 70 startups, with notable exits including Sincera (acquired by The Trade Desk), Audigent (acquired by Experian), and tvScientific (acquired by Pinterest). His portfolio spans innovative companies transforming how brands connect with consumers in the digital age.
Throughout his career, he has remained committed to helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenging journey from idea to exit, bringing a founder-first perspective to his work as an investor.
Eric is passionate about giving back to the entrepreneurial community as co-host of the Marketecture Podcast, where he interviews leading founders and investors in advertising technology.
